After 15 years as a professional whitewater guide and manager of the largest adventure travel company in Western Canada, Hugh turned his interests to pioneering and marketing adventure tours. He pioneered the first tourism flights to the South Pole — creating the only private base camp in Antarctica as well as the first private airline — expedited mountain climbing experiences, and even golfed at the North Pole!

Hugh also has lived his passions as an athlete by having:

• four time competitor in Ironman Triathlons
• nine time marathon competitor
• ranked 6th as a Canadian National Whitewater Kayaker
• ran the fastest time for the Chilcoot Trail (8 hours)
• mountain biked solo from Cape Town to Durban
• demonstration Telemark skier and instructor
• past summited Mt. Logan (Canada's highest peak)
