ú          When you first create your new goal, take one small step immediately. This has a huge impact on how quickly you move to the next steps. Look for an activity that takes only five to ten minutes and do it immediately.

ú          Chunk your goals down by creating bite-size objectives that you can accomplish in less than 15 minutes.

ú          Post copies of your written vision, goals, and action plans where you can be reminded of them often.

ú          Start your week with a list of the top five to ten goals for the week. Insert these in your daytime across from your daily planner page, or post them beside your computer.

ú          Keep an eye on your goals.  Start your month by reviewing your goals for the month and year. Start your week by reviewing your goals for the week and month. And start your day by reviewing your goals for the day and week.

ú          Share your goals with a colleague and ask them to keep you accountable. You can return the favour later.

ú          Imagine you’ve reached your goals – what does it feel like, how has this helped you? Your imagination is a powerful force and by first imagining what we want we are more likely to create that change successfully.  Try it for a week and watch the results!
